AOC Program Requirements

AOC carefully guides each patient through an individualized treatment program in an effort to end their dependence on opioids. This requires the patient to strictly adhere to all steps of the process.

  • Patient must be in mild-to-moderate opioid drug withdrawal (5 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the worst) at their initial appointment
  • Patient must refrain from heroin/ fentanyl use for at least 24-36 hours prior to their initial appointment at AOC
  • Patient must refrain from ingesting pain pills for at least 18-24 hours prior to their initial appointment at AOC
  • Patient must refrain from using non-prescribed “street” Suboxone or Kratom for 24 hours prior to their initial appointment at AOC
